If you want Mexican and are undecided on what to eat, you know because life is more than just tacos...
There are tostadas, quesadillas, flautas, tamales, fajitas and enchiladas...
How about have a little bit of EVERYTHING!
Yes, you can have your "buñuelo" BOO-NEW-EH-LO and it eat it too... that's a sweet fried Mexican dessert, by the way.
El Potro has so many options on their menu... it literally is a Mexican smorgasbord.
If you want to try a little bit of everything, the GO FOR THE BUFFET. I brought my family here.... and we are of Mexican heritage and this place was amazing!!!!!
Is it fancy-schmancy? No. It's got booths and tables, a TV and full liquor options... not just tequila people.
So, ÁNDALE ÁNDALE over to Apopka on OBT (441) for some down home Mexican food.
I posted menu photos and the buffet. You will need to come take your own photos when you get here. -

This restaurant has a regular menu available 7 days a week. They also have a Mexican buffet that you can do on Friday and Saturday and all day Sunday for $11.99. I went on Sunday. I loved the fact that I could build my own food. The buffet had all the different choices you would make something with. Vegetarian to meat. They also had wings and I don't do spicy, but I tried it for yelpers. When the fresh wings came out, the smell of the spice actually cleared out my nostrils.
The restaurant was full when we arrived and they quickly were replenishing the items. I loved the freedom of being able to make my own Mexican food creations. Also totally loved that queso was on the buffet. I could drizzle that everywhere!!!! The cold bar was good as well. Fresh Pico and other toppings
The one thing missing from the buffet was guacamole.
Service was excellent. Drinks were
Filled and used plates were immediately removed.
They also have 2 for one margaritas -

Food here was really good, but the upkeep of the restaurant is what needs to be improved. We came in at lunch time and decided to try the buffet. I would say to order off the menu instead. The food was decent, but it was not warm. I am not sure if the heat was on for the items. The biggest surprise is they had good mexican cheese on the cold line, but for the quesadilla and enchilada tasted like kraft american slices.
I came in wearing a white authentic jersey. I looked down and noticed that the color from the table was coming off on my shirt. I asked to see a manager. I was told he was talking to someone else. I saw he left that table and the server said he is finishing something up and then will be right over. After ten minutes he never came by and we needed to leave. We went to pay and I asked the person at the register for the phone number to call back the manager. They offered to take my phone number so that the manager could call me. He never did call me. The server was very nice and apologetic about it, but I can't believe the manager was too busy to talk to an upset customer. -

It is a hole in the wall. I love holes in the wall! I had the taco, 2 enchilada, and rice. It was good. The chips to start the meal were a little on the stale side and bland but ok once I added some salt. The prices are good and the service friendly. What's not to like?

Ok so we were hungry for Mexican and wanted to try something new. This place had a buffet with anything from from beef, chicken and steak tacos to shrimp, chicken wings, cake, rice pudding you name it they have it. Price is 12.99 per person.the food was good a little bland but still good. Two of us had a marathon and ate $100 worth of food easy. If your hungry for Mexican and don't want to spend $100.00 check them out they have something for everyone and it was all fresh. Oh yea,the most important part margaritas were 2 for 7 all day long with real lime juice. I will definitely go back...
